Coming up we’ll kick things off with National Night Out, a chance for neighbors to meet local law enforcement, enjoy outdoor activities, and strengthen community ties. The Berthoud Historical Society’s Boogie Dance Party invites you to hit the dance floor for a good cause, raising funds to preserve our town’s rich history. Food lovers will savor Flapjack Day at City Star Brewing, a delicious way to connect over stacks of pancakes and small-town hospitality.
Art will take center stage during the Berthoud Art Walk, when creativity spills into many corners of downtown. Visitors can explore exhibits in shops and public spaces before gathering at the Wildfire Street Fest, where the original Art Walk painting by Charlotte Zink will be auctioned to the highest bidder and limited-edition signed posters will be available to start your collection.
October also brings the much-anticipated Oktoberfest, where the sounds of polka, the aroma of bratwurst, and the sight of clinking steins fill the air in a Bavarian-style celebration.
Fall festivities continue with Trick or Treat Street, transforming downtown into a safe and festive Halloween wonderland for families. As the holidays approach, Small Business Saturday invites everyone to shop local, discover unique gifts, and support the merchants who make Berthoud so special. December delivers two of our most beloved traditions: Cowboy Christmas, a nostalgic holiday celebration with Western flair, and A Very Merry Berthoud, a magical day of art, music, and community spirit that turns downtown into a sparkling winter wonderland.
