A Very Merry Berthoud 2025 - A Community-wide event. Making Sprits Bright
Berthoud, Colorado will come alive with the spirit of the season on Saturday, December 6, 2025, as the town hosts the inaugural holiday celebration: A Very Merry Berthoud. This downtown event brings together local businesses, nonprofits, artists, families, and holiday lovers from all around the area for a full day of festive fun, shopping, and classic winter activities. With the tagline "Making Spirits Bright in Berthoud," this event will unite the town in joy, generosity, and small-town charm.

At the heart of A Very Merry Berthoud are three main anchor events, each offering something special and distinctly local.
1. Winter Craft Fair at the Berthoud Recreation Center
Held from 9 am to 3 pm at 1000 Berthoud Parkway, the Winter Craft Fair is a must-visit for handmade goods, seasonal décor, and one-of-a-kind gifts. Featuring local artisans, crafters, and makers, this event is perfect for anyone looking to shop local, buy handmade gifts, and support the creative talent of the Berthoud area. Whether you're searching for hand-poured candles, custom ornaments, or knitted scarves, you'll find something beautiful and meaningful.
2. Cowboy Christmas & Outdoor Market at The Rancher's Wife + Cobblestone Corner
From 10 am to 4 pm, head to The Rancher’s Wife (604 3rd Street), where you’ll find a bustling outdoor market in collaboration with Cobblestone Corner. This Cowboy Christmas celebration will include a petting zoo, photos with Santa, Carolers on Horseback, and a curated selection of vendors offering vintage finds, western holiday goods, and seasonal treats. A local food truck will be on-site to keep you fueled while you shop, sip, and enjoy live music and festive fun.
3. Parade of Lights
The highlight of the evening is the magical Parade of Lights, kicking off at 5 pm on Mountain Avenue. Expect twinkling floats, holiday music, and of course, Santa himself riding through town. This year’s parade is shaping up to be bigger than ever, with a large number of floats already registered. Thanks to sponsorship and leadership from local Harvest residence: Christine Torres of RE/MAX Alliance and Kristina Portillo of We Hang Christmas Lights Northern Colorado, holiday cheer will fill the air throughout our charming town. With support from the Town of Berthoud, who made the beautiful downtown lighting possible, this cherished tradition will shine brighter than ever.
Following the parade, Santa will lead the Tree Lighting Ceremony alongside festive carolers at Fickle Park.
Activities Downtown from 10 am to 7 pm
Beyond the three main events, the entire downtown corridor will be filled with festive activities for all ages. Some of the activities the participating businesses and nonprofits will offer:

Live performances from the Dickens Carolers, brought to you by the Little Pioneer Museum – Berthoud Historical Society
With dozens of downtown businesses hosting special holiday sales and giveaways, visitors can shop local while soaking in the sights and sounds of a traditional Colorado Christmas. From cozy boutiques to artisan vendors, it’s a great day to find gifts while supporting the community.
